On behalf of the Board of directors of the California NARPM chapter we’d like to offer you the top three reasons to attend the CALNARPM conference in Napa, California 2015.
Alex with Fourandhalf sat down to interview Jennifer Newton, the 2015 CALNARPM President, and discussed what’s new and exciting about the upcoming conference in March.
Education
Education is the key reason people attend conferences and we have some great speakers lined up. We will hear from John Bradford from North Carolina, who is the tremendously successful owner of Park Avenue Properties. We also have Pam Strickland, who is a compliance consultant, and she will talk about trust fund accounting and the California Bureau of Real Estate. Her topic is: Could You Pass an Audit? Everyone wants to say they could absolutely pass an audit, and after her talk, you’ll have more confidence.
Melissa Prandi, fellow NARPM member and successful business owner will wrap up our conference as the general session speaker. On top of that, we have 16 different workshops for people to attend over the educational period on Thursday and Friday, March 24 and 25. All of the opportunities at this conference will help you to become a better property manager, whether you’re new to property management or a veteran. Information can be found on everything from Getting to Page One on Google to How to Set Up a Sales Process to Distinguishing Between Companion Animals and Pets.
Networking
This is a huge opportunity to meet with fellow property managers and find out what’s working for them. We are planning a very interesting event this year around Speed Networking. Brokers and owners will be set up in a private room, which will feel like a café setting. Free drinks and food will be available and vendors have a chance to spend five minutes at each table, talking about their product and how it might help a property management business. This is an exciting event and it’s new; a lot of our guests are looking forward to it.
Trade Show
The final reason you don’t want to miss the CALNARPM conference this year is the trade show. It’s almost sold out now, 40 days before the conference. Property managers will have the opportunity to come and meet local and national vendors. In the property management business, technology is critical. You don’t want to miss the newest technologies available. Come and find out what people are using to be better and more efficient.
If you have not signed up yet, there are two ways to do it. Go to the CALNARPM website, or simply visit NARPM.org and navigate to the Conferences tab. You will see the California conference and you can register and download the brochure. You’ll see a complete lineup of speakers, workshops and conference events.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we look forward to welcoming you on March 24 and March 25 for classes and then to the conference on March 26 and March 27. If you have any questions at all, talk to us at NARPM or contact us at Fourandhalf.
